Dr. Hock was drawn to dentistry/oral surgery because he liked the idea that he would be able to help people and get them out of pain. He was always fascinated with anesthesia as well, and being an OMS gives him the opportunity to combine his passions while improving people’s lives. Now, he’s able to help patients dealing with a variety of complex dental issues and provide relatively painless solutions at the same time. For him, nothing is more fulfilling than seeing a patient experience complete relief from chronic pain.
After graduating from SUNY College at Geneseo, Dr. Hock went on to complete his dental training at SUNY University at Buffalo. Shortly afterward, he completed an oral and maxillofacial surgery residency at the Lincoln Medical and Mental Health Center.
Dr. Hock is always working to improve his abilities, and in order to do so, he takes hours of continuing education every year and stays active with a number of professional organizations:
Away from the office, Dr. Hock likes to spend his free time doing pretty much anything outdoors, particularly hiking. He is also a car fanatic, enjoys working out, and you’ll find him barbecuing on most weekends.
